Finally my corset is finished!! I loved the process of making even my fabric choice was a bit of a hassle (it kept fraying a lot so for the record beware when using Chinese brocade). I loved the fabric look and how it looked on the garment but I had some mistakes that need to be shared for future corset makers or just for my own sake; first of all I didn't expect the fraying of the fabric so I left my patterns cut it out for ages and didn't actually put the corset together which decreased the size of my 2 cm seam allowances to a 1.5 cm or even 1 cm in some which was awful when doing lapping felts for the boning channels. Another mistake I did was the length of my boning which Ididn't bare in mind that my model should be able to sit down and if it's too long it would poke her, which is basically what happened still it doesn't affect much when she stands up. For next time, I will be buying a 35.5 cm instead of a 40 cm one.
